Mystery Ride, Hosted by 4 Kids Charity. Begins at Quaker Steak and ends at Grass Flats with stops in between. Cost: 10 cans of food or $10 or any combination. Live music, There will be trophies, 50/50, raffles & giveaways. Everyone is welcome. All proceeds go to Second Harvest & local food banks and 4 Kids Charity. All are 501(c) (3) non-profit charities. LET’S ROLL! This ride is a tribute to remember those who lost their lives on 9-11-2001 and for the brave men and women of the armed forces who are fighting for us today to keep us safe. Ride date: Friday, September 11, 2009. Pre-register at Manatee River Harley Davidson located at 624 67th St. Cir. E., Bradenton, FL. 34208, 941-745-2429 off S.R.64 near the I-75 exit# 220 or register at the event from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 pm. Registration fee is $5.00 per person, non-refundable. (a signed waiver/registration form is required) The ride leaves from Manatee River Harley Davidson at 7:00 p.m. All motorcycle riders will receive a black arm band to wear during the ride and the event.

All proceeds to benefit Manatee’s Operation Troop Support (MOTS) 501(3)(c) non-profit.

This is a police escorted ride and all motorcyclists are encouraged to come out and support this event or be along the parade route to show your support. The general public is encouraged to sit along the route on the sidewalks and cheer the bikers on! This is an open event open to all motorcycles and bike clubs. (This is a motorcycle ride only).

The ride departs Manatee River H-D and turns left onto S.R. 64, continue to Lakewood Ranch Blvd and turn right proceeding down Lakewood Ranch Blvd. to S.R. 70. Turning right onto S.R. 70 crossing over U.S. 301 to U.S. 41. Then turn right onto US 41(N) and end at Hooter’s. For more or other information go to the website: www.911remembranceride.com.

The Ride ends at Hooters on US 41 (14th St.) in Bradenton where the tribute will continue.

The 5th Annual Diva Angels Poker Run, from the Sarasota based, Gulfcoast Chapter, will benefit Southeastern Guide Dogs of Palmetto, FL. www.guidedogs.org. The event is set for Sunday, October 4, 2009.

Everyone Welcome – All Wheels - This is rain or shine event. $10 per hand or 3 hands for $20. There will be a prize for the best & worst poker hands. Sarasota HOG to benefit KIDS by the SEA a local nonproft helping local kids with cancer for the last 25 years.Bring $15 & a new teddy bear to donate to the kids.
